I think that the last elevator pitch that I recorded was a little
ambitious. It is very hard to remember a speech and play with a dog at the same
time. So even though in theory I think the idea for the first elevator pitch is
more entertaining, the second one communicates my message a lot better. I tried
to make the second pitch a little more natural sounding because the first one
is very rehearsed. I think that recording it against a blank wall makes it
easier to focus on what I am saying instead of all the stuff going on around
me.

ReplyDeleteI think your dog finder idea is a good one. I think you can really set yourself apart by making an extremely user friendly app that anyone can use. The only constructive criticism I could say based off your elevator pitch would be to dress professionally so you look the part. You have a good idea keep working on it, good luck I wish you the best with the idea.
I need the dog finder but for my mischievous cat and my wallet. Cool product you got there. I guess maybe make it longer and dress professionally like ^ the previous comment suggests? I also had trouble with memorizing my pitch for the last elevator pitch. Having a less distracting environment is a great idea. Good job on the post.
ReplyDeleteHey Emma, compared to your last elevator pitch this one definitely has some improvements in terms of delivery. I think being able to handle the presence of the dog among other distractions comes with time and practice. I don’t think dressing professionally in these is too important because that’s the easiest part. It’s all about delivery and confidence which is exhibited here.
